Crosby's Reserve is a selection of clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon from our estate vineyard in Napa Valley, destemmed to stainless steel tanks and fermented on native yeast for 35 days. This 100% varietal Cabernet Sauvignon aged in all new French oak barrels for 22 months, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting notes — Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Crosby's Reserve springs with vibrant notes of black and red cherries, fresh raspberries, and cassis, plus suggestions of black pepper and fertile loam with a touch of cedar. The full-bodied palate is lively and bright with red and black fruit layers framed by firm, grainy tannins, finishing with skip in its step.

Our estate vineyard is planted to a proprietary blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, in a sand-based Haire loam soil on a slightly eastern-facing slope. We harvest at the pinnacle of phenolic ripeness to ensure a lush, concentrated, and structured red wine that will age for over a decade. We manually sort the fruit for quality, and ferment in stainless steel tanks for an extended period. The young wine then ages twenty-two months in all new French oak barrels.

Tasting notes — Deeb garnet ruby. Mellow notes of crushed dry flowers, plum sauce; rhubarb, and strawberries. On the palate this playful wine is dominated by very ripe and aromatic raspberry flavors, with blackcherry and plum, and fragrant notes of soft leather and tobacco lingering on the finish.

Our Estate Bottled Sauvignon Blanc is a cuvee of two clones from our vineyard in Los Carneros, Napa Valley. We gently whole-cluster press the fruit and ferment the juice in concrete on native yeast for five weeks. The wine then ages seven months in new oak barrels and stainless steel drums. This product was farmed sustainably.

Tasting Notes — Light yellow gold color; dry hay. On the nose, mellow aromas of acacia and peach juice, mellow citrus, leading to white rose, lemon-lime, and vanilla bean on the palate, with a soft and lingering finish redolent of apricots and peach syrup. Delightful now, the wine will gain complexity and depth over the next five years.

Our clone 95 Napa Valley Chardonnay vineyard occupies the western-most portion of our acreage in Carneros on a slight slope facing east — planted in a deep and well-drained sandy loam haire soil to a north-south configuration on a vertically-shoot positioned trellis. As with all our grapes, the fruit is picked by hand at dawn and sorted prior to crush. Chardonnay is whole-cluster pressed to mostly new French oak barrels for a native primary fermentation, followed by malo-lactic fermentation in oak. The wine ages 18 months with minimal bâtonnage.

Tasting notes — The 2024 Chardonnay has a lightly green-tinted yellow-gold color, with white-rose floral and tropical fruit notes. Medium-full bodied, with bright and full tropical fruit notes, peaches and vanilla on the nose, leading to fresh Fuji  apple, pineapple juice, anise, jasmine, lemongrass and coconut cream on the weightless finish.

Cuvée Spéciale is our reserve expression of Merlot, drawn from select lots that show exceptional depth, texture, and refinement. Grown in our estate vineyard’s sand-based Haire loam soil on a gently eastern-facing slope, the fruit is harvested at the height of phenolic ripeness to produce a wine of plush concentration, polished structure, and graceful longevity. The grapes are manually sorted for quality, fermented in stainless steel, and aged twenty-two months in all new French oak barrels, yielding a generous, layered wine with the depth and elegance to evolve beautifully over the next decade.

Our estate vineyard is planted to a proprietary blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, in a sand-based Haire loam soil on a slightly eastern-facing slope. We harvest at the pinnacle of phenolic ripeness to ensure a lush, concentrated, and structured red wine that will age for over a decade. We manually sort the fruit for quality, and ferment in stainless steel tanks for an extended period. The young wine then ages twenty-two months in all new French oak barrels.

On the palate this playful wine is dominated by very ripe and aromatic raspberry flavors, with blackcherry and plum, and fragrant notes of soft leather and tobacco lingering on the finish.
