Named for the variations of rock, loam, and clay found throughout Crocker Vineyard the Crocker & Starr Estate, the 2023 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon ‘RLC’ is a classic expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from our vineyard.
\nGrown from Hand-harvested and crafted through small lot fermentations, this vintage spent 22 months in French oak before bottling in June 2025. The 2023 growing season was steady and unhurried, allowing the vineyard team time to guide the vines toward fresh, balanced fruit.
\nIn the glass, the wine shows dense garnet color with aromas of black raspberry, black cherry cola, vanilla bean, and warming spice. The palate is broad and velvety, layered with marionberry, cherry, fennel, sweet tobacco, and all spice, with fine tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a lasting finish.
