A mild spring led to a good fruit set and summer and fall brought warm temperatures, but no heat waves. All the fruit enjoyed a long, slow ripening and crop yields were abundant. Optimum ripeness and excellent quality fruit at harvest translated to high quality wines with balanced components in the bottle.
