Our first Cabernet Franc vintage is a true stand-out of this estate grown varietal.  After completing heavy fruit thinning, leading to low yields and powerful wine it is concentrated with a very dark blue color and notes of violet, blueberries, black raspberries and sweet French oak.   Our maiden vintage is rich, round and opulent, featuring mature tannins and a firm backbone of acidity.  Enjoy now or over the next 10 years.  82% Estate Cabernet Franc, 13% Estate Cabernet an 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced in open top fermentors with manual punch downs leading to a dark, ruby Rhone-style signature red blend comprised of 95% estate Syrah and co-fermented with 5% estate Viognier to enhance its floral tones. Concentrated and intense, jammy fruit driven wine featuring flavors of layered blueberry, boysenberry and fig with aromas of black cherry cola, plum, spice and cracked black pepper.
